Dear Frank:

Is it o.k. to post articles from internet sources without their permission provided we submit the URL sources and links for these articles?

Yes, unless someone specifically asks us not to. In the only cases that I know of where this has come up, copyright law has been applied.

A link, even a link with a summary, has been held to be unassailable, even if the target does not wish it. This is based on the principle that a link is like a reference or a citation. If you publish, you cannot complain when people cite your work.

Copying a substantial amount of article's text or photographs would be a violation of copyright (unless one of the exceptions applied, such as fair use or parody). But it has become so common on the web that complaints are usually settled with an apology and removal of the offending text.

In short, I would go for it, but I would not hesitate to remove it if anyone complained.
