Nazism is just a form of fascism and fascism is a form of statism like socialism. Many Nazis were quite contemptuous of Christianity. Hitler’s party was known as the national socialists. A fascist economic program would have some of the same elements found in a social democracy or more radically socialist societies.

For many leftists, Nazism’s roots are to be found in Christianity. Many Christians were ardent supporters of the Nazis, so it is assumed that the Nazis were inspired by Christianity. But much of the Nazi leadership appeared to be enamored of pre-Christian paganism. Some of their partisans are, in some cases, extremely anti Christian. Savitri Devi Mukherji (formnerly known as Maximiani Portas) and William Pierce are two examples.

Christianity and paganism. Both religions.

Fully agree. A lot of people forget that the Nazis were National Socialists.

Of course the left will try to associate the Nazis with Christianity. That's so they can associate the Christian "Right" in the US with the Nazis. Most importantly it takes away from the fact that the Nazis were socialists, like those in the far left are. Really, Nazism and Communism are two sides of the same leftist coin. Cool

Both where just a new variation of religious dogma. Still not truly secular.
