Is possible to read fiction that has mixed-race characters without dragging up race all time? I notice some of the recent mixed-race novels focus too much on race than a good story.

I have run into one novel, Moon is Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlen. In the story they have mixed-race character, but don't go into race politics. James Landrith recommended me this one.

If anyone knows of works of fiction with racially-mixed people minus the taint of race politics let me know.

R.
