does the goverment classify people by race useing social security number.if i wanted to reclassify my self as mixed race my social security would still classify me as black america it maybe be a locked in system with no way out.
my white mom social security is like this 55 .
wail my social security number is like this 33. |

| I thought social security numbers were based on region. Race has nothing to do with it. |

I've never heard this kind of reasoning from anyone before, so I don't know about it being an urban myth. Urban myths are usually stories that have been passed down via word of mouth and usually are well known, right? This scenario sounds more like worrying about the "wrong" things IMO. Social security cards by "race"?? Not likely.
