Amanda Luttrell Garrigus was born in Tanzania's capital city of Dar es Salaam to a Louisiana-born father and a native Tanzanian mother. Her family moved to Toronto, Canada when she was three years old. Amanda graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree followed by post-graduate studies in Magazine Journalism at the highly-regarded Ryerson University. She began her career in fashion journalism as an editorial intern at Flare and then as Associate Fashion Editor at Fashion Magazine. Amanda and Rachel Luttrell (the young woman you posted above) are sisters. Amanda has two additional sisters, but I've failed to find much information about them.
