OK Im new at this interetsing forum...

I am black british of west african heritage (20 years old)

Is there any such thing as a racially direct (and I dont use 'pure') african american person ever that would exist today. I mean one that would have, by going through ancestry, have dodged white, native american admixture with like over 95% sub-saharan

Because I have heard from many internet and tv sources of white american's who can trace their recent roots directly back to Europe without admixture (I dont mean prehistoric)

please dont be harsh if I did not enquire this as eloquent and as intellectual as some of you here, I am new and wanting to learn

Sure. Just look at Heather Collins-Schramm's chart (below). It is from Heather E. Collins-Schramm and others, “Markers that Discriminate Between European and African Ancestry Show Limited Variation Within Africa,” Human Genetics 111 (2002): 566-69.

The second cluster from the left shows admixture of 264 African Americans. As you can see, many of them are within 5 percent of the bottom edge of the chart (the bottom edge is 100 percent sub-saharan). Also, regional studies show that the Geechee/Gullah people of the Sea Islands of SC and GA have negligible admixture other than sub-sarahan.

[By the way, I moved the thread since it seems to be more about genetics than about ethno-political identity.]

I read your post and my Geechee/Gullah People are perhaps one of the few sub cultures in the U.S with SSA admixture 95% or more. I actually just posted my DNA results which states just that.

I feel lucky, my mother has two Geechee parents and my father has one Geechee parent and one African American. It would be hilarious to me if I were to take the other test which traces where exactly my family derives in Africa and I am able to observe a family resemblance with the native people, imagine that lol.
