I have been told that my maternal grandfather was what people call a 'black' Indian or may at least been descended from 'black' Indians. Would any of you know of any 'black' Indian tribes in North or South Carolina where I'm from? Would anybody have any information on the relationship between blacks and Indians in the Carolinas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
