hey, guys.
I was wondering whether or not anyone knows how to go about getting a genetic admixture test to see your ancestry from Africa, Europe, and Asia? Which ones are the best and which ones are at a reasonable price?
I am curious to see the percentage of mixed ancestry I have considering the Mixed Louisiana Creole background of my father and the europeon ancestry of my mother, who self-identifies as Black. |

I strongly recommend Dnaprint Genomics. They are the leaders in the field of admixture mapping. Indeed, one of the company's founders, Mark Shriver, pioneered the techniques. Several reputable labs do mitochondrial and Y haplotypes, but for admixture mapping, I believe that DNAPrint is head and shoulders above the rest. Their corporate website is http://dnaprint.com. You can order their admixture test ($240) at http://ancestrybydna.com. No, I am not affiliated with the company; I just think very highly of them. |

| Thanks. Now that you mention it, I do recall Mark Shriver on the African American Lives series talking about that particular company. 240 dollars seems like a reasonable price. |
