My take on it....
The will is good as is and as it can be. Katherine Jackson will go before the courts in August to try to stop the executors. The Jackson family should let it be. 40% of $500.00 as of today = how much?
MJ's debts today will balance out with his assets.
She gets 40%. Actually, Joe Jackson, the other broke kids, then The Jackson 7 finally gets some money. The parents declared bankruptcy ten or so years ago.
The Jackson family has 40% and KJ and have her lawyers can adminster her 40% yrly. to Joe and the 7 kids. 10 people, the two parents, 7 kids, dividing 40% is a helluva lot of money. I exlcuded Janet because she does not need a dime.

The kids-Diana Ross should raise them. She had 5 of her own and did a fine job.Who is going to raise these 3 innocent kids...IN REALITY? Be real! How long is she going to live? A 79 yr.old woman! She has staff to do the parenting and .....Lotoya Jackson can parent the kids.

Neverland-sell the other part of it to that company with rules the buildings dismantled, sold, acres sold off, etc. Caroline Kennedyhad her brother's apt.gutted and sold. There was nothing for anyone to buy or the media to take pics of. Dignity, privacy.

I think Debbie Rowe should take all 3 kids ,change their names, and move to Norway with them,LOL.Poor kids . They are rich for life, but they had no mom, tutors but no school and school friends/activities,etc. No dad no. They have not lived a normal and I mean normal in rich folk's world.

Isn't it ironic that a White woman and 3 White kids get all of that Black guy's money,LOL!! I keep hearing these Black public figures trying to"claim him as one of their own."

The memorial service seems to be dignified. The family esp.should let him rest . No press releases. Family squables, court battles, Jackson Family Reunion concerts, etc.
I think they loved their family member. He was not a meal ticket. He was a great talent.
End of story.

Diana Ross is, what, 65? I'd say she'd be too old to deal with teenagers. Hopefully the family court judge will appoint an independent guardian ad litem and order home studies of the various family members and potential guardians to determine where the kids should go. Debbie Rowe should get visitation, at a minimum, since she's their mother, but I hope a therapist is involved in helping her build a relationship with them. Those kids shouldn't be cut off fom any of the Jacksons they were close to. I hope there's court ordered visitation with the grandma and aunts and uncles if Rowe does get custody. I also hope whomever controls the money is not connected to the Jackson family, knows what he's doing, and has the best interest of those children in mind.

Who knows what the truth about their biological parentage really is? I suspect Rowe really is the bio mom since she said she's willing to take a DNA test to prove it. Looking at the little girl surrounded by her aunts and uncles at the memorial, I thought she looked like she could very well be part black, though I suppose you see what you expect to see. In the interview with Jackson they re-aired last week he said the girl got her blue eyes from his side of the family, since his father has blue eyes. Apparently Jackson had a white grandmother, so there were some recessive genes for fair skin and blue eyes and maybe blond hair in his DNA. For the kids' sake, I kind of hope he was their bio dad and Rowe is the bio mom. Regardless, they deserve to know the truth for medical reasons, but I really hope it isn't made public and the family has enough sense to keep them away from the paparazzi after this. As weird as Jackson was, it's obvious that his children loved him and are devastated.

I think that Rebbie would have been a good selection to care for MJ's kids. She's been married to the same person for many years and has sucessfully raised her own kids. Since I very seldom hear of her in the media, I can safely assume that she isn't harrassed by the paparrazi to the same extent as her other siblings-which would mean a life of relative peace...

Just curious, but why do you think she should take them to Norway?

Also, Debbie Rowe only bore the two oldest children, so if she did win custody, the kids would be split up. Sad I think the kids should live with someone they know and love, not someone who, despite being the biological mother, is a stranger to them. just mho.

Well....he was black wasn't he? I mean, skin bleaching and excessive surgery aside, I think he always still referred to himself as a black man.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

She's got to be close to 60 though. Jackie is about 58 or 59 and she can't be too far behind....I'm dating myself, but I remember her from the short-lived Jackson family variety show that I religiously watched back in the 70s. She appeared to be the oldest of the Jackson children, already an adult.

Mouse, Rowe would take all three.I am sure it be that way.
Her two kids are strangers to her as well.
I just saying, the poor kids needs to go out of the spotlight. Put them on a vacation ..send them off to a boarding school in later years.
The mag covers are feasting on them. They are OK mag this week in some unreleased pictures. Oh,where are these pictures coming from....Jack$on Family, maybe. It is believed Rowe does not have pictures.
It is sad either way.
Ross has not issued any statements and that seems smart. Why give the media more to feast on. I doubt she, at 65, would want to start raising kids. Her baby is like 20 yrs.old now.
Rebbie Jackson was there in the small wide brimmed hat. I doubt at 60 or so, she wouldwant to raise kids too.

I think Rowe is going to get those kids.Legally, she is the MOTHER.The will is a will, but MJ is dead and Katherine Jackson is 79.
Nobody needs to get the kid's money but the kids when they get of age.

LAPD: Michael Jackson's drug history to be probed
Fri Jul 10, 7:32 am ET
LOS ANGELES – Detectives investigating the death of Michael Jackson are looking at his prescription drug history and trying to talk with his numerous former doctors, the Los Angeles police chief said.

Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, told ABC News in an interview that he believed "foul play" was involved in his son's death. But in the interview aired Friday on "Good Morning America," Jackson did not elaborate.

Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton told CNN that police are waiting for the coroner's report before ruling out any possibilities in their "comprehensive" investigation into the sudden death of the 50-year-old pop star two weeks ago.

The coroner's report will determine the cause of death and hinges on time-consuming toxicology tests.

"Based on those we'll have an idea of what we're dealing with," Bratton said Thursday. "Are we dealing with homicide? Are we dealing with an accidental overdose? What are we dealing with?"

Bratton said detectives are gathering evidence, including items seized from Jackson's rented home and arranging interviews with his many physicians, but the police chief deferred to the coroner to determine the cause of death.

"The next move really is his," Bratton said. "We're not marking time waiting for his report."

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the state attorney general's office, which keeps a database of prescription drugs, are assisting investigators.

An attorney for Dr. Arnold Klein, one of Jackson's many physicians, told the Los Angeles Times that the dermatologist was subpoenaed for medical records, which he turned over to the county coroner's office.

Bratton refused to discuss details of the case.

Jackson, who died June 25, had a well-known history of using prescription medications, especially painkillers. Following his death, Cherilyn Lee, a registered nurse who had worked for Jackson, told The Associated Press she repeatedly rejected his demands for the potent anesthetic Diprivan, also known as Propofol.

Jackson had multiple doctors, friends and staff who came in and out of his life. Which people were being interviewed by police was unclear because the LAPD has said virtually nothing about the probe.

Joe Jackson said he didn't know anything about drugs his son was involved in.

"I don't even know the name of them," he said. "I do know that whatever he was taking was to make him rest because he had been working so hard."

Police towed a doctor's car from Jackson's home hours after he died and said later it could contain medication or other evidence. Coroner's officials also said Jackson was taking prescription medication but declined to elaborate.

Meanwhile, Joe Jackson told ABC that he and his wife, Katherine, should have custody of Michael's three children. "They'll grow up to be strong Jacksons," he said.

He said Michael's daughter, Paris, who spoke at the Tuesday memorial service, was taking the death hard and was crying whenever Michael's name is mentioned. He said that she might have a future in the entertainment business along with the youngest son, nicknamed Blanket, who "can really dance."

Mouse: Michael had a skin disease, vitiligo, hence the change of his skin color. It had nothing to do with him not wanting to be black or something stupid like that.

G-man: Rebbie (Maureen Reilette) is the oldest Jackson sibling. She's born in 1950, so yes, she's almost sixty.
