This site seeks to promote the formation of a new ethnicty/race in the USA. Basically they seek to have mulattos as a third group to the black and White dichotomy. Furthermore, they use much the same techniques Black one droppers do to hijack anyone with any black and White ancestry to identify as mulatto. Effectively, they have a two drop rule.
One Black, One White. |

I think people can visit the boards for themselves and see that your post is a pretty big oversimplification of Mulatto.org's purpose. |

Oh yeah, and they also like to censor anything that does not go along with this agenda. Even considering a post from amoderator of this site, one droppist. |

Don't be ridiculous Jamie, no one was censored. The head moderator did remove some posts because they were adding nothing to the discussion. However, when he did that I interjected and said that any post that was to be deleted had to be run by the other moderators first.
Instead of allowing us to rectify any mistake we may have made as moderators, you spammed the entire forum asking to have your account deleted and was subsequently banned from the site by me.
Like I said, anyone can visit Mulatto.org for themselves and see that there's no racist agenda taking place. Its an online community for mulattos to share ideas with one another. We respect outside opinion, however posts attacking mulatto identity and forum spamming will not be tolerated. |

| Yeah, right. Eli was deleting posts without consulting anyone else just becaise Mixedmelo didn't like the posts because they did not go with the mulatto ethnicity agenda. I stated quite clearly that if you guys would use Big brother tactics, you should delete me. |

No, Eli deleted posts because Eli isn't big on conflict or debate. He sees it as counterproductive. I immeadiately informed him that he has to run things by other moderators before he does such things. You were there, you saw that discussion.
BTW, Mixedmelo had nothing to do with it. In fact, some of his posts were deleted as well.
Like I said above, you didn't give the moderators a chance to correct themselves. You simply decided to spam the forum asking for your account deletion.

Yeah, except we weren't using big brother tactics. We're keeping the forum clear of disruptive and pointless dialogue, which is our right as moderators of the forum. You want to argue that mulatto isn't an ethnicity? Fine, but don't do so on a board dedicated to Mulattos, its highly disrespectful to the posters who identify as such. |

Actually, no i didn't see it. I was turned off by the second time I had an article deleted because Mixedmelo complained.

After I had warned Eli about censoring me unneccesarily. And he kept doing it.

Funny, plenty of other mulattos agree with me. Since when is Mulatto nationalism the opinion of all mulattoes?
Oh wait, you are the one that thinks all Blacks are Black separatist and Afrocentric and uneducated. I guess you take the same tack with mulattoes. They can only be mulattoes if they agree with your ethnicity agenda. Not if they just like to identify and relate to others without a ethnicity/race agenda. |

Well who's fault is that? And please stop blaming Mixedmelo. Dave (Eli) acted all on his own.

And like I said, if you had been more patient instead of going on a spamming spree, the issue would have been resolved.

Mulatto.org is not a mulatto nationalist site. Some of its members are nationalist, some are not. The underlying purpose of the site is evident on the very first page;
"Resources for those interested in Mulattos, People mixed with European and African, Black and White "
You were too busy trying to prove that mulattos didn't have a right to claim an identity to notice that there are many different opinions and people on the site. They're all unified by a common heritage.

I didn't blame Mixedmelo. he isn't a moderator. He complained like any member can.

That wasn't a Spamming spree. that was a make sure i caught Eli's attention as he felt like he could delelete my posts but avoided resonding to my request foor 4 days. And again, if you guys had been more prompt in responding to his deletions, I wouldn't have been annoyed.

Adn yet the only messages that i saw deleted where mine because of a hyper sensitive moderator. Both those articles came from other mulatto/mixed sites where they recieved constructive attention.

Nice try. i have enver claimed mulattoes do not have an identity. but having a parent who is black and a parent who is White, or just an ancestor of each, does not equate to common heritage. Common heritage would be if the white parents came from the same group for all the mulattoes invlolved and/or the Black parents came from the same group. Then there would be a common heritage. |

| Hey, hey! Guys! What does this have to do with the "Discussion of U.S. Racialism"? Perhaps you could take this argument offline. Please feel free to use this forum's private messaging system, if you prefer not to use reguar e-mail. But why post an apparently private argument to everyone? |

My apologies Mr. Sweet. Anyone can go to Mulatto.org and see for themselves that the site is not nationalist or negative in anyway. |

Hi,
I just came from Mulatto.org actually and was invited here with a close friend of mine. Unfortunately I would have to agree with this previous poster in saying that Mulatto.org does not spread a good image of mulatto's. This is my opinion at least. If you look at their ban list, there are so many people banned. Another problem over there seems to be the freedom of speech. I hope that ODR will allow me this opportunity, I'm looking forward to it here! Thanks MODS

We are not a mulatto site. We mostly discuss race-based topics. Of course anything "mulatto" would fall under that.
I do understand where you are coming from with respect to mulatto.org. I've had two of my posts mysteriously disappear because they were seen by a moderator as not condusive to the formation of a positive mulatto identity.
Some moderators are very touchy about what you post and how you post. |

A lot of people are banned on Mulatto.org because we get a lot of white and black nationalist trolls. Or we get people who attempt to negatively effect mulatto identity by attempting to undermine the reasons why someone would claim a mulatto identity.
Sorry your experience at Mulatto.org wasn't a favorable one. Hopefully you can find another forum that's more to your liking. |
