In the interest of providing information on people who are making a difference in our world, I present you with the following:
Nicole Narain

Nicole Narain is an American model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in January, 2002 and has appeared in numerous Playboy videos. Her mother is a black woman from Guyana while her father is half Chinese and half East Indian.
In July 2005, she became involved in a civil disagreement with the actor Colin Farrell. According to the Associated Press, Farrell alleged on July 18 that Narain was trying to profit from a sex tape the two recorded in 2003 with an agreement that it would never be made public.
She has also appeared in music videos like R.L's song Got Me a Model, LL Cool J's Luv You Better and Fabolous' Baby.

| Her face looks Asian to me. It also looks like she has the heavy, coarse hair texture of many East Asians. Unless that is, of course, a hairweave made out of precisely that kind of hair. |

most of the white women in playboy have weaves so it goes w/out saying that a POC would. |

most of the white women in playboy have weaves so it goes w/out saying that a POC would. |
LOL very few of those women wear their real hair in public. I have met very few people of any background who have that much real hair growing out of their scalps. |

At first glance she doesn't have a look we in the U.S. consider "mixed". For many people inside the U.S., a mixed-race person with African ancestry must be a certain complexion, probably based on the assumption that all such people have European admixture.
It's possible that her Chinese/East Indian Guyanese father (her last name is East Indian) and her African Guyanese mother are both somewhat dark, which would explain her complexion.
And yes, she does appear Asian at times, at other times black, or at least what we in the U.S. consider black. Sometimes she looks East Indian to me. |

i personally don't just look at skin color when i try to determine if someone is bi/multiracial and/or what mixture they are. many douglas have very deep brown skin (eg, chili from TLC or tatyana ali) but their features, bone structure, hair texture, etc are indicative of other races. also, just because someone has dark skin doesn't mean it is the tone of a subsaharan african's. |

Looks like Nicole is back in the news again (well a pic of her anyways)--this time for riding atop the shoulders of "rehabilitating" LA Laker player Andrew Bynum at the Playboy Mansion.
Nicole will be 35 later this year which is pretty old for a playboy bunny I think. But it looks like Nicole is aging quite well and obviously hasn't lost anything; she doesn't look a day over 25! |

Narain is a Indian name, but just like in Surinam today the name does not always tell what looks to expect anymore. Which is a boon for race relations. Many Surinamese with Chinese surnames are in fact (pitch black), Classical African types, because Chinese immigrants in the 19th and 20th century married black women.
I always wanted to ask, Sagascend is this your real portrait? I have noticed here that some persons post fake portraits of themselves, to prove some point. |
