In my personal life recently, I've encountered two women, one who is married to a white man and one who just ended a relationship with a white man.
OMG these two women make me sick, they are very dark skinned and unattractive aka Omorosa, personally both women make a point of trying to make everyone like them, they are braggarts are ignorant and have bad judgement. One makes a habit of bringing up her "white" husband everyday, telling the rest of us his opinion on matters. The other, an ignorant gold digger, who had a one night stand with a black guy, thought she was carry a mixed baby and got burnt, now she's alone (except for her new baby)and bitter.
In my opinion, both these womne seem to be in love with having a white man but not in love WITH a white man.
I once had a white suitor, he was a cool guy but he was jewish, my supervisor and besides being my manager on the job, he sold weed, which I felt was so tacky and ignorant, especially for a white man. When he asked if we could date, I told him honestly he would never be just "Gary" to me, he would always be "white Gary".
So my question is do Black women "like" white men?
For the record of I'm brown skinned with nappy hair why would I want to sleep with someone who has the texture and skin color of my cat
Judging by the very low number of White male/Black female pairings in the U.S, we can say that very few Black American women are attracted to White men. Black/Mulata women in my country of Brazil on average are more open to getting romantically involved with White men.

It sounds like the black woman with the white husband must really love her husband since she speaks of him often. For the other woman, it sounds like she has an attraction to white men as well so obviously, there are black women who love white men. There are also black women who are in healthy relationships with men who happen to be white and "race" isn't an issue.

This may be the case for one or both of these women but to answer the original question posed, yes, there are black women who love white men. Some of these women may have unhealthy reasons for doing so and many do not.

Do you hold "white" men to a higher standard than you do "black" men? This smacks of a racist statement! You could really stand to think about what you're writing BEFORE you hit the submit button. GEEZ!!!

Some black women do love white men and some black women don't love white men.

This is an incredibly distasteful comment. I could hardly believe what I was reading when I read this post. This adds nothing of value to the content of this site.

I say-Yes I hold those who have any type of advantage to a higher standard, my son is college educated now, so NO, I don't expect him to sell weed...can I judge an illierate brother trying to make enough to eat...I would hold that person to a different standard also until he is offered help.
I thank you for your opinion of my thoughts and for the record, I love my cat "kitten", he's soft with straight fur and when I look for fleas I see he has white skin, would I want to marry and sleep with kitten very night, would I want kitten to rub his hair up under my nose...NO, I don't like straight hair, thats my opinion

You stated the following:
"my manager on the job, he sold weed, which I felt was so tacky and ignorant, especially for a white man"
It is reasonable to expect more from those who have had advantages but instead of saying that selling weed is tacky and ignorant for a "white" man, it would have made more sense to say that this is tacky and ignorant for a man in my manager's position (regardless of race).

The comparison between a human being and a cat in this example is silly. If you're simply not attracted to straight hair, that's your perrogative to which you are most earnestly entitled. Saying that white men are like soft furry cats is well... silly.

First off I felt Gary's advantage in life was that he was a white man, the company we both worked for was one of those picture taking fly-by-night companies that solicit in the supermrket, so his position as manager was not his true advantage in life.
IN YOUR OPINION it is a silly comparison, but when a white man's arm touches my arm, I get the same exact sensation as when my cat touches me. When someone with a nappier grade of hair touches me, the curled hair in their arm doesn'feel like my cat...enuf said...now we can take it further if you like...

Being "white" is not an automatic advantage. It's unfortunate that anyone would think that being "white" is an automatic advantage.

Not all "white" men have the same texture of hair. There are "white" men with curly hair on their arms. I don't make a habit of rubbing up against different people but I must say that I've never had the sensation of feeling like I was rubbing against a cat when brushing arms with any white man.

And judging by how much snow there is at the south pole, we can say that it snows very much at the south pole. But we would be wrong. Avarage annual snowfall is less than 1 inch. My point is don't assume causation.

I've never met any black woman that said she wouldn't date a white man because she wasn't attracted to him. I've met plenty black girlfriends/acquaintances who felt like they couldn't date a white man because of cultural/social issues.
I don't know--I always dislike questions like this.

The problem is the question presumes that the 1st party-in this case black women-are a monolithic group who all have the same levels of attraction to specific types of men. Anyone who has been around a while knows that what one person finds attractive another finds distasteful.

Some obviously do since they befriend them, date them, marry them, bear their children, and so on. Am I missing something here? Are you asking in general? Are you wondering if there is an inherent "dislike"?

I have always been attracted to white men. When I was younger I never felt that they were an option to me. I think thats the reason that BW/WM couples are rare. Because its such a taboo, for a white man to date or marry a black women. Also, I think for BW it raises the question, If the man is only sexually interested in or ginuinely wanting a relationship? I would also like to point out that within the last 10 years, the public display of BW/WM couples has largely grown. My sister was telling me that at the school me and my sisters all went to. Went from being almost completely racially divided, to now seeing a majority IR couples, and few Same race. Including white guys and black girls. This is a high school mind you. But I think it is reflective of whats going on in society.
So, Yes, I belive black women have always been attracted to white men, but felt that it wasn't okay for them to make it known. Additionally, the influence of family or friends that might show disapproval when white people in general are mentioned.
For Instance, my dads brother married a white women. My dad made it clear that he didnt approve and that if they ever had kids, the children would be "confused". Which, he says, is the reason his brother never had children.
Also, I think for BW it raises the question, If the man is only sexually interested in or ginuinely wanting a relationship?
Not to muddy the water, but women have fretted over this since before we climbed down from the trees. Just as men have fretted over whether they were going commit but wind up unknowingly supporting and raising other men's kids.

Oh. Duh. I guess not. I didn't post ANYTHING in there. Haven't even read it, yet. But, in all fairness, it doesn't look like it starts off like this one did.
