Amy Holmes (born 1973) is a Republican strategist who often makes appearances on CNN and FOX News Channel. She was formerly a speechwriter for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. Holmes graduated from Princeton University with a BA in economics in 1994. She co-hosted "The View" in November 2006 and May 2007. On April 20, 2007, Holmes made her first appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher".

Holmes was born in Zambia to an African father and a Caucasian American mother.[1] She was raised in her mother's native Seattle after her parents divorced when she was three.[1] She has been linked romantically to columnist Lloyd Grove and journalist Mickey Kaus. She co-hosted The View in November 2006 and May 2007.

Always suspected she was black mixed with something, but I never knew with what exactly. She's one of the few politically conservative people of color on TV news outlets nowadays, but their numbers are growing.

Amy is cute, but I'd like to see her with a different hair style--she's had slight variations on basically the same do for many years now. Neutral
