hello, everyone!
I'm a little reluctant at times...when letting my kids go out...it seems that i feel that the older they get..the more freedom they want.
Well its to be expected..!
I remember the teenage years!!!!
I was a pistol!

Right now...I'm going through the teenage years, with my son and daughter.
I have problems with facts on what stage is better, when raising kids..to me..there's apparently no.. easy stage!!!!!!

Just allot of learning....on being a parent..it seems you second guess some points especially..when your kid..seems to make valid ones better than yours at times..I call it "learning trail & error"
Kids are smart sometimes, i will admit.
When they reach a certain age like my twO...they know their boundaries, and you sometimes give in...especially when you have great kids!

I will say communication is the one important tOOl in raising kids. I thank-God for that blessed-relationship with my kids.

Ahhh....parent-hood!

I think each stage appears to be difficult..the stage i miss most is when they were in diapers and so-little and sayin'..mama...!
awl...so all you new mama's enjoy it, with a smile.

Now they call..me.. mA and mOm...!
and mommy-when my daughter is apologizing on wrong doing!!
lol!!!

I just today, told someone, that i haven't seen in a few years that... i had an 18 year old son and a 15 year-old daughter...wow, he said..that went by so quick!!

Well, i started...thinking to my-self..yes it did!
:/

The reason, why i titled this:
"its hard to grow up with my kids"
is because, i guess..I'm feeling like wow..the years went so fast and I'm getting older and wow..life is passing by so quick!
I think I'm feeling a little sad and happy at the same time...in a way...a momentary thing..that will pass..in looking back..
I've been through allot of hard times, example for one, becoming a single parent...!

Where did the time go??
I think sometimes we all need to really think about the love we have as mothers and give ourselves a pat on the back...it really is the hardest job on earth!

I just think to my-self...wow i am truly blessed to have them...in my life and where would i be at this moment in time without them?

Humm??
Time might be passing by quickly, but i do have something to shOw for it!

I'm a MOM!
Very Happy
HorraY:!: Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation
And I've survived.... Laughing
Anyway..thought i share with you ladies!
Smile

And I still do love them, only now it's different... they run off with friends, one has a girlfriend , who has a car...

But there was a time, when they were my little "rolly-pollies"-- they had SO much energy!

I took them to drum circles, and we'd get seperated in the dark on the beach (a mother's WORST nightmare!) and I go from person to person, asking if they'd been seen... they were never far... they were tussling in the sand. Once, I asked an old Rastafarian..."have you seen my sons?" (I'm blonde & Fair skined) He said "What dey look like?" and I answered (frustrated) "Well... Like poster-shildren for Aryan Nation!" He chuckled, pointed and said "Dey ovar by da rocks." Sure enough, there they were, playing "Power Rangers" out of the fire light. I hated saying that to the man, but there were SO many little kids that night! the only way to distinguish "mine" was to give them a "blurb" rendition.

We used to go buy Haggendass and take walks by the ocean. I took them to see Maya Angelou, and they fell asleep in my arms. I took them to work, I raised them in a "critical thinking" household.

I've got some damned fine men on my hands.

#1 (age 19) is in a JC, with a straight 4.0 out of his first year
#2 (age 17) is in 12th grade now, but pulled As in college level courses.
#3 (age 17) has a scholar ship to a top 25 college
#4 is 13 years old and trying to drive me NUTS!

I LOVE MY BOYS.

Time will never change that.

Hello, ther.
PassingWoman

oh, the memories...right.lol!

i remember one time we went to the fair, my sister had my son's hand..
well, she lost him..he was about 7...if i remember correctly..oh my gosh you want to talk about fear, i panic and looked around and when i saw my son..he was standing so still looking at a ride, it was so crazy..i was worried and he was in a trance looking up at a ride with his big brown eyes..lets just say i held him by me even closer that night. So i understand you on that...!

being mom..is the challenging experience of all, but you know what i wouldn't change a thing.

they bring you pain and joy...peace and love in one combo...a funny combination. Laughing

you have 4 boys oh what joy...! i am happy there wonderful children, congrads mom. Very Happy
