After seeing the kids at the memorial, I think I'd put myself in the "they are his kids" camp. They resemble Jacksons to me, albeit much more Euro than all the siblings except LaToya.

I was especially moved by how affectionate Janet seemed to be with her brother's children. She was very close to Michael. I hope that the family will unify and be there to help the kids through this tragedy. They need all the love, kindness, and support they can get.

My mom choked up when Paris started crying about how much she loved and missed her daddy. My mother can relate because she lost her own father to a drunk driver in 1981...she loved him very much.

No matter what MJ's faults might have been, I know without a doubt that he loved his children. Whether they are biologically his or not is irrelevant. It is the love that counts.

BTW, Maya, I married my fiance on June 6...he made the same observation as you. He believes that the children look somewhat like Michael. I personally don't see the resemblance, but it wouldn't be impossible.

I feel like Janet would be the ideal candidate to help raise them. She seems intelligent and responsible as well as caring. I have an uncle (my mother's little brother) who actually attended the memorial because he was invited. He has worked in the music industry for at least 30 years. He said it was beautiful. He is acquainted with the Jackson family and feels like they all (with the exception of Joe) wish to have Michael's memory treated respectfully.

The oldest of the Jackson girls, Rebbie, is something of a mystery. I don't believe she attended the memorial. We never really hear anything about her at all. I know she married very young and had 3 children, but it seems that she has completely avoided the media circus. I don't know how she has been able to do it...she IS a Jackson, after all. Smile

Usher's rendition of "Gone Too Soon" was moving. Jermaine Jackson's version of "Smile" was full of emotion. He was clearly fighting back the tears. Stevie Wonder looked and sounded as good as he did many years ago. I love me some Stevie Wonder! But I cringed when Mariah Carey came on. She looked gorgeous and her outfit was fierce, but that display of cleavage was inappropriate at a memorial service. Her singing was off-key and left much to be desired...not the beautiful smooth voice she once had.

The kids are his kids Legally and
by law that is all that matters.

The two older kids are Debbie Rowe's by law and that is all that matters.

I have eyes and the kids look like me.You have a nose and the kids look like you,LOL. I do not see how anyone can say these kids look or resemble MJ. They look nothing like him and I do not base looks on hair and color. To those who say the kids look just like MJ ,they have his nose ,eyes,well,then I must look like my White grandmothers. I have a nose and they had a nose too. I have eyes, two of them, and my White grandmothers each had two eyes,LOL!!!
I look NOTHING like them even though I have two eyes and one nose.

Paris looks like some little biracial/multiracial girls I've seen. No matter how these children came to be, it is obvious that they view MJ as their father. He loved them and they loved him in return. He tried, in his own eccentric way, to keep them out of the media's constant scrutiny. This is why they were homeschooled and never appeared with their faces uncovered.

Biology is irrelevant in this situation. I read an article online today written by a woman named Luchina Fisher where she implied that the Jacksons have no business raising MJ's "white" children. She also implied that white families are more loving towards children of all colors because white people are more likely to adopt. As you can imagine, many people were offended by this.

The children might be white or have a Euro phenotype, but I don't see how being reared in a Black family would be detrimental to them. Wasn't their father (biological or not) a Black man? Michael loved them. I know that the few trustworthy people in his life will try to do right by the kids.

Black people helping to raise other people's children is nothing new in America or parts of the Caribbean. Sometimes it does take a village to raise a child. Smile

Call me blind, but i don't see it. those kids look like his dermatologist, they got the dermatologists ears, shape of his eyes. i think the kids look more like him.

i'm just saying, i'm not trying to be mean, but i think those are his doctor's kids. people say the two kids, prince and paris have dark skin, but it looks like the dermatologist isn't extremely white either, i think the camera flashing in his face made his face lighter, but it looks as if he has the naturaly tanned skin.

I'll believe those are his kids when i see a DNA test, and i have to be in the room to witness it and maury has to be the one to read if he'd the father or not. thats when i'll believe those are his kids

They don't look like that guy at all, I'm not saying they are biologically Michaels but maybe he (received) kids that would look like his makeover or something, they do look something like him

I can't believe some people are so stubborn, that they can't see these kids as Michael's kids. If he had been an average Joe down your street, you would never have questioned him, if he said he was the father to these kids. But since he was a "weird" celebrity, it's okay to say whatever you like about him, isn't it? But there are several biracial kids, who aren't darker than what Michael's kids are, and as they've gotten older, especially Blanket have started looking more and more like him.
