I saw this movie on the weekend - it was delightful. Really cute.
I thought the actress who played Theresa did an OUTSTANDING job - as did the others - so I looked her up. She is from Jersey (yay) and she is not American but Dominican
(but Amer born)

'Zoe Saldana' was born in New Jersey to Dominican parents, moved to the Dominican Republic for 7 years and studied ballet there at Ritmos Espacio de Danza academy (actually known as "ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy), and then went back to the United States to continue her career.
In New York she studied acting at the Faces theather program and after that got her first role of relevance in the movie Center Stage (2000/I). |
