This is a question
Most people in this forum i see actually believe in the theory that skin color changes with latitude and climate.
I'd never trully believed in that theory, because it doesn't see the other factor, race is not only skin color only, is facial features, size, etc.
And that theory is completely eurocentric, whites in north, blacks in south, that should be it, without considering that white skin and black skin are very strange (most people in the world are medium brown).
And also, in finland you can find farely tan people, and in the mediterrean a lot of people are pale white and blonde.
So, there has been experiments that can prove this theory?
For example, let's say an experiment in which a plant looses it color in a controlled enviroenment

Oh, surely not! I would bet good money that most people in this forum believe in natural selection through adaptation over the course of many generations. FWIW, here is my own opinion on skin tone (It is only about skin tone -- nothing about any other traits).

Totally agree. Americas just get concerned about skin tones. On the other hand, Latinos and other peoples are a lot more worried with facial features rather than with skin tones. Facial features tell it all: class, ancestry, "purity of blood", intelligence, instincts (at least the myth goes).
In short, if ones has the right nose shape belongs to the club, otherwise it does not, regardless of the skin tones.
Skin tones can change with drugs or with some tanning. To change facial features a major surgery it is necessary.
